The MAT Capstone project at WMU is our senior project. We have complete creative freedom, so I chose media composition for film as my area of study. I wrote original music for five movie scenes of different genres. I chose this topic because I have a passion of film scoring and I wanted to learn and practice writing different styles of music. I learned a lot about orchestral writing, hybrid score writing, and software like Cubase 14 Pro and Davinci Resolve.
